Matter discussed :

 

(1) Attraction of new research business

1.1 Manager A emphasize the requirement to refurbish all equipment and arrange the laboratory settings to ensure safety and cleanliness

1.2 Research officer D had attended one discussion of external chemical supplier and obtaining the interest to invest in the research project of the university and company.  The company group will be contacted again.

1.3 postgraduate E has completed most portions of the sponsored research projects.  The company working on the project is happy with the results obtained.

 

(2) Agency attraction for linkage

2.1 Student E has gone to overseas for Linkage International Project for 6 months introduced previously by GJS Research Institutes

2.2 Another collaborative project is coming where Trainee F will be appointed to discuss about such partnerships as a part of practical in management.  He was absent due to conference in Darwin, Australia.

 

(3) Educational and community services

3.1 Supervisor C had been attending scientific research education camp organized by education department to see whether there is any opportunity to use the space in the institutes for science projects

3.2 Scientist B raised the interest whether better plan should be worked out to raise the funding for social group in the institutes like science student society via science camps with university funding

3.3 Manager A also reminded that Linkage International with education community in the world is to be discussed with certain universities for science exhibition, quizzes where the academic research could be applied directly to coursework.

 

The meeting adjourned at 3:55 PM with pray as the beginning where tea and refreshments are served.
